The idea to offer Coauthor opportunities came from Ken Deshaies, a well known Realtor®, Cyber Star™, author and Coauthor of 100+ books on Real Estate subjects. Ken offered an opportunity for selected individuals (mostly fellow Cyber Stars™) to become Coauthors with an exclusive license for their local market area. The current list is over 100 individuals who have become published authors in their exclusive area. Several have returned their investment many times and the benefits continue for a career lifetime. I decided to make the same offer to qualified XpertCMA Licensees, because the subject of pricing is so critical to today's market. The option to be the Co-author(s) in your area is subject to acceptance by the author and publisher. Some of Ken's Coauthored books have two or more authors in addition to Ken. Including an associate offers an opportunity to split the cost without diluting the benefits. The cost is variable depending on the changes and additions of the co-author, but some or all of the cost can be paid by offering advertising space for title, insurance, inspection, appraisal, and other vendors. There are several options, but here is the Basic Coauthor
Plan: The original book was written for the public, including real estate professionals, in any area. The Coauthored book title would be changed to reflect your local area, e.g. Atlanta, Tucson, SmallVille. Your contribution would be local conditions, info, etc. The book is set up as a Word.doc, with areas highlighted in yellow, that can be omitted or rewritten. You can rewrite as little or as much as desired within established parameters. The author and/or editor with assist you as needed. You do not need any writing experience, just real estate expertise in your area. A Coauthored book is simply a book written by two or more authors, each making contributions that reflect their own or combined knowledge. The reader gets the benefit of both without additional cost. Almost anyone can afford to become a Coauthor with me. The entire investment in your future can be put on a credit card and paid monthly as the benefits accrue, if desired. And you can find another associate to split the cost. You can receive a quantity of hard copy books as well as an electronic version, which can be distributed by you at will and with no cost.
